Pearse Of Cake Music is an events promotion, music licensing and consulting company based in London/ Margate, England.
With a small team working together with big ideas, Pearse makes things a Pearse Of Cake for all those working with him.
Pearse has worked with artists like Bastille, Nile Rodgers, FKA Twigs, Kate Nash, Example, Bombay Bicycle Club, James Bay, Rizzle Kicks, Anna Calvi, Lianne La Havas, Metronomy, The Orb, Mystery Jets, The Wailers, Kofi Stone, Trevor Nelson and just last year, Take That!
Pearse in the 00s garnered quite a reputation for working on parties, festivals. and gigs including Wilderness, Reading, V, SW4, FOLD, Standon Calling & Lovebox Festivals, then venues from The Sebright Arms up to London Palladium and Royal Albert Hall. And of course booking across the board for Mama Co(The Garage, Borderline, Barfly) as well as running the clubnights at Barfly.
Now Pearse splits his time between Margate and London.
He also splits his time between promoting larger scale events at Hastings White Rock, Dreamland, Folkestone Leas Cliff and several open air gigs & helping independent artists get the deals they want and need.
Plus a bit of A&R of course.
